Get ready to shine because Sparkle Walk 2025 is lighting up Saturday 21st June! 🥂
Event information
Join us on the longest day of the year as the sun sets, and party your way around the streets of Kettering, celebrating each step you take towards supporting end of life care in our community. With registration from 6.30pm, heading off at 8.00pm!
This year, we’ll get the party started at the iconic Wicksteed Park. There’ll be the chance to purchase some dutch courage from the bar*, enjoy the thrills of selected classic Wicksteed Park rides*, and celebrate the lives of those who aren’t able to walk alongside us by leaving a message on our ‘Memory Tree’, before we begin our old school warm up.
Then you’ll set off, pounding those Kettering streets on a 6km sunset walk like no other, passing local landmarks including the Market Square and our very own Cransley Hospice. 🌇
The miles will fly by with all the camaraderie en-route, and it’s back to Wicksteed Park for the sensational after party – included in this year’s ticket price! There’ll be a chance to toast your success with your friends and family at the bar*, grab a mouth-watering bite to eat* and dance the night away!

We are delighted to be working in partnership with Wicksteed Park to deliver this year’s dazzling Sparkle Walk event. All proceeds from car parking goes towards the valuable work of the Wicksteed Charitable Trust.
The Park are delighted to offer Sparkle Walkers a discounted rate for car parking of just £3.00 per vehicle. Discounted parking must be booked in advance by providing your registration plate number when purchasing your Sparkle Walk tickets.
On the day car parking price will be £7.50.
“Like many public spaces, car parking charges apply at Wicksteed Park, car parking charges help Wicksteed Charitable Trust to maintain the park and ensure that it remains a safe, accessible, clean and well-kept environment for our visitors.
“Our large, beautiful park requires substantial funding to maintain its infrastructure, including pathways, landscaping and our much-loved playground. The funds raised through parking fees can also support our sustainable initiatives, including improving green spaces and enhancing environmental programs, these initiatives contribute to the long-term health of the park and its surrounding environment.
