Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Salary: £26,000 – £28,000

Cransley Hospice Trust is seeking an enthusiastic and driven Trusts and Foundations Community Fundraiser to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in securing vital funding through trusts, foundations, and community engagement.

As a crucial part of the fundraising team, you’ll be responsible for:

• Identifying and securing grants from trusts and foundations to support essential palliative and end of life care services for North Northamptonshire.
• Building strong relationships with community groups, faith organisations, schools, and businesses to inspire fundraising efforts.
• Supporting individual fundraisers in the community and ensuring excellent donor stewardship.
• Managing collections, fundraising events, and engaging with local supporters to maximise income.
• Working closely with the marketing team to promote fundraising campaigns.

About You

We’re looking for someone with:

• Experience in fundraising, business development, or relationship management.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, as you will be working closely with colleagues and external contacts.
• Strong people skills to engage and inspire donors, volunteers, and community groups.
• A proactive, creative, and organised approach to work.
• A strong desire to make a real difference to hospice and end of life care in North Northamptonshire.
• Excellent organisations skills with excellent attention to detail.
• You will bring a flexible, can do attitude and be able to work independently as well as part of a team.

Hybrid working, and due to the nature of your role there will be some evening and weekend work in the local area.

Job Purpose and Role:

Engaging our local community is essential to the success of fundraising at Cransley Hospice Trust. As Trusts and Foundation Community Fundraiser, you will work as part of the Fundraising team delivering engagement activity to maximise income from the local community as well as researching and developing the Trusts and Foundations income pipeline. As a valued member of the team you will work with community groups and associations, faith groups, schools, businesses and individuals across  North Northamptonshire, recruiting and engaging them in fundraising activities and offering excellent stewardship and encouragement. With your energy and drive to deliver an excellent supporter experience you will work with the fundraising and marketing teams, in a culture of innovation and collaboration, to meet and deliver the overall fundraising objectives.

Additional Information

A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is required, as the role involves travel within North Northamptonshire.
